Easy to find. Short walk to everything you need. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. Lady cleaning the room went above and beyond what was necessary, turning the bed into swans and flowers. Security staff....top notch...24 and 7. Anyone who doesn't belong there (even my friends) Do not get in.....believe me...I tried!!! Safe...quiet...just perfect. REMEMBER....you're in CUBA !!! Be Cuban. [Details]

This hotel is not for tourists and should not be offered by Canadian travel agents. The staff speak very limited English, although they do their best. The location was fine for me, but located a long way out of the city. The hotel room was dirty and had many cockroaches although the bed and sheets where clean. The hotel is located in one of the nicest area of the city and very quite, but not suitable if you are not able to walk long distances. Money was stolen out of my wall safe, but the staff showed little concern, I understand this was not the first time! For most of the visit I was the only tourist which suited me. Unless you have a reason to stay in that part of the city don't stay there. I have traveled on six continents and used to 2 star hotels. But once again this hotel should not be offered by travel agents! [Details]

It was quite dark when arriving at night and the entrance was not lit up brightly. It was a bit unclear where to go in to register. Although staff were quite helpful. [Details]
