Hotel Paseo Habana

Overall the experience was good. The hotel is clean and efforts are being made to keep repairs up to date. When notified of issues, the staff were willing to come in and make repairs as needed. We had breakfast included and I almost wish I had asked for lunch as well - the meals were served to order and the service was good.

My two main complaints are about the rooster next door (who would wake us up every hour from 3 am until 7 am) and the staff on duty during the night.

A few things to note - water is very difficult to get your hands on. The night staff is unwilling to sell it and it isn't provided in the rooms or included with meals. The location is a bit removed from stores and restaurants so you should consider buying extra water on your travels and stocking the in room fridge for emergencies.

Security was also quite good. Staff were quick to speak to non-guests on site and the safe key was actually able to lock a huge closet so all of your personal belongings could be locked up easily at no extra cost.

Finally, internet service is a bit dicey. You can buy a 30 minute access card for 3 CUC but it will take 30 minutes to login to any account. We walked into Miramar and purchased wifi access at one of the all inclusive resort hotels and found it was much faster at a comparable price. [Details]

We were very happy with our hotel choice. It is a simple but cozy and comfortable hotel, located in a very quite and charming area near to many interesting spots. The staff was always nice and helpful and Sergio deserves a specially mention as he gave us some good recomendations for our visit to Viñales and specially, he fix a really important problem we had the last day there. The location very convenient. It was a bother for parking. Every thing was clean and tidy. B /F was o.k.The plumbing was bothersome. Overall I was very satisfied. [Details]

I was very pleased with the quality and service at Hotel Habana Paseo. It is a great hotel. It is a bit far from the action of Habana Vieja, but walking the tree lined streets full of old mansions in Vedado is a pleasure as well. [Details]

I stayed at Hotel Habana Paseo from April 30th to May 7th. If visiting for La Primera Mayo (like we were)this hotel is in an amazing location. It is located in Vedado on Paseo y 17. I was pleasently surprised by this hotel and almost shocked by how clean and new it was (for the price we paid). The breakfasts were good and made to order. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is travelling with a friend as well as young couples and those travelling alone. [Details]
