Hotel Deauville

The receptionists were quite friendly and helpful. The hotel location is perfect which is closed to old Havana. We walked to most the popular places in 10 or 25 mins. If you take the Tour 1 bus, it is just stop right at the corner of the hotel. It is very convenient. I really like it to stay in this hotel except the cockroaches clawing around the bathroom. I hope the owner of the hotel can really clean up the cockroaches then I would like to stay again in the near future. [Details]

My stay here was great. Included breakfast followed by exploring on foot. Easy to walk everywhere. Two tourists buses at central park with one taking you to the beach. They are both hop on and off and good for entire day. [Details]

Great location and close to downtown [Details]

If you're looking for a great location in downtown Havana, where the action is this is it.However *there is no nearby beach*. Instead, you may (depending on room) get a balcony with a fine view of the "Malecon", a famous boardwalk along the oceanfront of central Havana. Our package included breakfast, which was surprisingly good food considering it's Cuba. As normal for Cuba, expect at least one elevator to be broken, the rooms somewhat dirty, and the service indifferent. But the water and electricity worked all the time, including hot water, and the room was very spacious. You can't go wrong for a $500 package (tax in) but if you're paying $1000 then you would expect better. [Details]

I really liked the hotel, it had a great view, a really good location, it wasn't expensive, good room service, although staff could be a little nicer. [Details]
