Cc Beach Front Papagayo

We traveled to this resort as a family of 4 (children aged 14 and 11) and stayed for 1 week. From the moment we arrived and to the day we left, it was spectacular. The staff were friendly, accommodating, hard working and always had smiles on their faces. The size of the resort is perfect and all amenities were within easy walking distance. The variety of food available was better than any other resort we've been to. The option of a salt water pool vs chlorinated was nice to have. The beach was sensational. It's long and relatively quiet. We walked it every morning. There is no nightly entertainment (which we were okay with) so if that is what you are looking for, I would suggest going somewhere else but otherwise I would recommend this resort to everyone. Our first experience in Costa Rica was amazing. The CC Beach Front Hotel in Papagayo was more than we expected. The service was exceptional and the room was big, the bed comfortable and the view remarkable. [Details]

Best holiday ever [Details]

We booked Casa Conde because it only had 50 rooms. It does not have all the bells and whistles of the mega resorts and that was the attraction. This resort has the best staff we've encountered, they are very friendly and helpful and work from the beginning to know your name and use it. They want to make your vacation wonderful. The food is very good and mostly outdoor dining. Every day, every meal, there were new foods and a very good variety of both local and North American foods at the buffet. Two a la carte restaurants - tapas (outdoor) and Mediterranean (indoors) you need to book. Two huge pools and bars, never busy getting a lounge chair no matter the time of day. We had a superior room on the second floor which was a newer section. No ocean view but room was a great size, large balcony and tons of space for clothes. Massages available and the ladies were very good. Off resort tours available to book right in the hotel and if you want to snorkel just head down the beach a ways and it's there, no need to pay extra for a tour unless you want to. We had an opportunity to see inside one of the bungalows and although older, they were a nice size. I would not recommend this resort to families as there isn't really a lot for kids at this place. Bring bug spray! This is an eco-resort and they do not spray outside for bugs. Rooms were very clean. No bugs inside. Bed was very comfy and I have a bad back! Air worked great, hot water was instant and shower had great pressure. Food was great! Fresh and hot. Wildlife was everywhere; monkeys and many birds in the trees, and iguanas galore! Pools not very deep and need to be cleaned more often in windy season. Beach was not crowded. More locals than visitors but still almost vacant. This is not a party resort. Bars close early and no loud music or animation staff. However restaurant staff are awesome and plentiful. I'd highly recommend this resort for a great, quiet, restful vacation. [Details]

Our visit to the Casa Conde was on the whole
enjoyable .The Master suite was quite large
the pool and ocean were just 100.yards outside the room . The food was fine , the staff exceptional . (just a little reminder take lots of bug spray ) [Details]

we had an amazing time at the hotel, my wife and me were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and it was better then what we expected. the staff is totally awesome, the food was great and the resort was fantastic. The staff on the resort is special, they want to make sure your stay is the best it can be, and try so hard to understand us " and we are sorry we cannot speak Spanish" but we cannot say enough about staff. the resort itself is clean and tidy. as I said the food was fantastic, the buffets and the al la carte we delicious. When we arrived at the hotel we were told they didn t have our reservation and no room available,despite our hotel voucher from Air Canada Vacations. We were also told that the resort included breakfast only was was not all inclusive! It was only after holding my ground, calling the AC rep, and appearing quite upset, that they "found" us a room. A few hours later, the desk clerk came to our room with "all inclusive" wrist bands! We were the only people at the hotel that were all inclusive. Fortunately the one restaurant was fantastic- really excellent quality food. We ordered off the menu for lunch and dinner, and ordered drinks and food at the pool bar, signing for each order but not having to pay.
