Bermuda

We were greeted by very friendly receptionists, that seemed as excited as we were. Our accommodations were fantastic, (we booked into a one bedroom suite) and we were fortunate to snag a cottage suite. Everything was well maintained and clean. The kitchen had the essentials such as dishes and cookware, coffee, sugar....no salt and pepper. The pub style restaurant was closed for renovation but their menu was available in the main dining room which was great if you just wanted a light snack. The pool area was always neat and tidy and some guests were using the facility even though the weather was a bit cool. The hotel ferry was a nice option as it took you into Hamilton much quicker than the public ferry. But if the timing doesn't work out with your schedule the public ferry is right next door. The hotel grounds are perfectly manicured and just as pretty as a picture.

Since we travelled in February, we decided to stay closer to Hamilton rather than a beach and it worked out very well for us. The hotel is in a great location, an easy walk from Hamilton and its sights as well as the bus and ferry terminals to get you where ever else you may want to go. The hotel has a shuttle to take you to their private beach as well, we made use of it twice and it was always fast and on time. The rooms are modern and clean and pretty average sized for a hotel (no sitting area, although there are balconies). They do have a fridge in case you want to pick anything up from the market next door. All of the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast was really good (it was included for us but would have been really expensive if it wasn't). The pool and hot tub are beautiful and we enjoyed those as well. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

Everything from the accommodations to the food was excellent. The beach was quite small, so if taking long walks on the beach is one of your favorite things to do, this is not the place to stay.
