In a word.....perfect!

We were greeted by very friendly receptionists, that seemed as excited as we were. Our accommodations were fantastic, (we booked into a one bedroom suite) and we were fortunate to snag a cottage suite. Everything was well maintained and clean. The kitchen had the essentials such as dishes and cookware, coffee, sugar....no salt and pepper.
The pub style restaurant was closed for renovation but their menu was available in the main dining room which was great if you just wanted a light snack.
The pool area was always neat and tidy and some guests were using the facility even though the weather was a bit cool.
The hotel ferry was a nice option as it took you into Hamilton much quicker than the public ferry. But if the timing doesn't work out with your schedule the public ferry is right next door.
The hotel grounds are perfectly manicured and just as pretty as a picture. [Details]

The strong points

The rooms look out over Hamilton harbour offering spectacular views. The suites are beautifully decorated and spacious.

The weak points

We found service in the dining room inconsistent....giving us the impression that other guests were more important than us. Upon checkout there was an additional restaurant charge for a breakfast that was not ours. They agreed to remove it.
