The Ka'anapali Beach Hotel was fantastic during our stay in Maui. We stayed in a Premium Oceanfront room, which was incredible- the view of the ocean was amazing and the room amenities were updated and modern. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and I really enjoyed the leaving ceremony on the last day. The location is very close to Whaler's Village with lots of restaurants easily within walking distance. The beachfront in front of this hotel is quite wide, especially compared to some other properties in the same area. [Details]

The strong points

Oceanfront room- the view was amazing and we were so close to the water Close to other amenities - walking distance to Whaler's Village Beautiful beach steps from the hotel The cultural activities, specifically the leaving ceremony

The weak points

The pool is a small and unimpressive, but this is offset by the beautiful beach

We very much enjoyed our stay at Kaanapali Beach. Lots of things to do and places to go within a short distance. Beautiful beaches and love the spacious grounds. Never felt the least out of place and the staff was very friendly. Would recommend to anyone who wants a less demanding and stress free atmosphere. Good for all ages. [Details]

Very friendly staff, extremely clean with beautiful beaches. Great location. Very homey and Hawaiian. Many exciting places to go within a short distance. Never felt out of place.
