We loved the resort and highly recommend the all inclusive option with offered multiple food options, great theme nights, and endless drinks.The resort is quiet, quaint and very clean. The Solmar staff were excellent throughout our stay, but, at times, struggled with comprehension. Overall, we loved The Solmar and will definitely return. [Details]

The strong points

You have free access to Playa Grande's pools and fitness centre and a free shuttle to connect you to both properties.

The weak points

Given the fabulous location of the restaurant, I don't think it is capitalizing on its physical potential. It seems sheltered and removed from its natural light and its beach setting, while not fully integrating the indoor and outdoor spaces.
