checkin was very slow only one elevator the other has been broken along time. room was ok bed was comfortable pop and water in fridge no beer ever. across from the hotel and not far at all they are building a condo complex lots noise sometimes. breakfast and lunch were very limited . mexican food all the time lots of chiped cups had to our own coffee most of the time pool area needed some repair it became very cloudy after a few days. the overflow grating was missing in places you could break your ancle the infinity system did not run at all. the bars had very odd hours service was good as hotel was not busy. the smaller beach was really small no good at all for swimming rocks all over the bigger beach was for very good swimmers the waves can get very rough the water got very deep in a few yards going in over all i would not go back i only paid 1100 dollars [Details]

The room cleaner did not restock the fridge with beer 2 out of 7 days. There were only two guys serving drinks one at a time in the pool or beach and service is very slow. Our order did not arrive twice. One of them (Saul) would try to assist you during breakfast to get more tips, but there are already a lot of staff serving breakfast. But when he could be of real service, to serve drinks, he is hardly to be found. The breakfast and lunch staff were helpful and provided attentive service. Tips: the Latitud Beach Club is part of the all-inclusive, and has much better lunch. Go for the bike tour. Fun, and not too hard. Most guests who are Mexicans would be willing for you to tag along when they visit the town centre, and could be interpreters too when you ask for prices in the market. Go up the few steps to the top of the hill between the two beaches for even more amazing views. The staff at the Chocolate Bar (Sergio & ?) also provided great service. We were supposed to be approved for late check-out but were not able to be accomodated. They did give us coupons to get lunch, but no more access to the drinks. (They missed this chance of sending off their guests with a sense of them going above and beyond.) [Details]

The strong points
Great view. Not too crowded, being a small resort. You get to mingle with other Mexican guests (all we met were very nice). The ala-carte dinner staff (Deni, Saul) and the bar staff by the lobby (Max & ?), as well as Ulysses the receptionist were great!
The weak points
Too many flies in the eating areas.
