The only negative was room smelled musty but location of room was awesome and we just purchased a few air freshners. Food was delicious at hotel and rooms were large and very clean. We would definitely go to this hotel again. [Details]

The strong points

Location, staff in executive went above and beyond as they dealt with an issue we encountered, food in hotel was awesome, most staff were friendly , quiet, location was awesome

The weak points

Musty smell in room so we purchased air freshners as room location was too good to give up

Resort was clean, very quiet and very relaxing. Staff very helpful. Close to all amenities including grocery store, shopping, trolleys, etc. The location of St. Pete's Beach was perfect. Would recommend this resort and would definitely return. [Details]

The strong points

If you're looking for a middle of the road resort, look no further. Dolphin Beach is ideally located on St. Pete's Beach, is very clean with excellent maid/cleaning staff. Located close to grocery store, shopping, trolley service,etc. Resort very quiet

The weak points

Would like to see Resort equipped with a fitness centre.

The package I booked allowed me to arrive by noon on the 1st day. The hotel could not accomodate me until 4 pm! The desk staff did not offer an alternative, suggestions, nothing. I was just told to come back around 4pm and they would hopefully have something then. Not a good start to a vacation. [Details]

The beach was the winner!

The weak points

The facility seemed dirty, there was mold in the bathroom, the tub & shower were dirty, the carpets were stained and it smelled stale. I would not book this facility again.

Dated but clean hotel. Get room with balcony-pool side or one fronting on beach. 1st 2 rooms we were given had palm trees in front of window-tree view
3rd one had no balcony and windows didn't open-no fresh air.Pool closed at dusk. Nice beach [Details]

Accomodations were as I expected, Hotel staff was very friendly, so were the restaurant staff and the food was good too. If you want to walk along the beach, it stretches as far as you can see. [Details]
