Hotel was awasome

Room was clean and well decorated, we got early check in, got free self parking as a complement. Parking was little far from the lobby but still ok, you need 2 ~ 5 min walk to reach self parking. The hotel compound is very huge and there are lot of restaurants inside the hotel area. You should take car rental otherwise hotel to parks and other locations might be not so convenient for you. There are few shuttle service to some parks but it takes more time since it stop by other hotels as well. There are no other restaurant from walking distance from the hotel. Hotel breakfast is a bit expensive $18 per person! [Details]

Wonderful Hotel

This Rosen Hotel in Orlando was just perfect. The hotel staff were some of the best we have ever experienced. It was delightfully quiet with exceptional amenities and easy access to the attractions of International drive and Disney properties. The timing was perfect in that the weather was warm and the hotel and surrounding locations were not at all crowded. We will return for sure. [Details]

Beautiful property and very clean. Excellent staff and service.
The weak points
Parking configuration needs re-work. Should have designated parking for guests staying at hotel vs. guests attending functions. Having to almost walk up from as far as the front gates to hotel is not acceptable, especially since we had to pay for parking.

What an amazing hotel! We loved that it was situated in between Universal and Disney Parks. Very impressive and grand, from lobby to restaurants, grounds, and rooms. Staff were friendly, and the hotel was very well kept. Highlight of our stay was the golf course...simply world class from the well manicured greens, GPS golf carts, and friendly service from the golf staff. We truly appreciated that we had free wifi and complimentary self parking...totally unexpected but well appreciated. It was a bit of a trek to the parking lot, but that is to be expected from a hotel so large. Views were amazing anywhere you look. And we loved our view of the pool and golf course from our room. It was great that there were multiple pools, and all different types. We enjoyed the convenience of dropping by the downstairs deli/grocery anytime since it was open 24/7. Troy was able to accommodate our request! I have been recommending your resort to frends and family since we've been back. I would totally stay at Rosen Shingle Creek again! [Details]

The strong points
Great customer service provided by Troy Schumacher. He really values customers. Also, hotel is impressive and classy, well kept. We love the World class golf course, and golf staff we're very professional and helpful.
The weak points
Parking is a bit of a trek to the main hotel. Also, housekeeping staff were chatting very loudly in the hallways early in the morning...took a bit away from the classiness of the hotel.
