My wife and I had been to the Wyland (now Marriott Waikiki) one year before, and we were very impressed with the cleanliness. So when we went back one year later, we were sure to book at the same hotel. We were not disappointed. The hotel was still just as clean and well run, and we really enjoyed our 2 week stay. The staff was very helpful. For example, when we first arrived, we were in a room facing Kuhio, and we asked to be moved to face the pool. The staff was able to arrange that the very next day, and we appreciated it. Also, I could not log onto one of the computers, and one of the staff at the desk left his post for a moment and got be set up on the computer. It just took a moment, but it was very helpful to me. The strong points
Clean room, clean bathroom, crisp linen, clean hallways, clean elevator. Clean pool and pool deck. Friendly staff, newspaper on the doorhandle every morning, Freezies by the pool in a freezer, computers in the common area. Just lots of little extras.
The weak points
The rooms facing onto Kuhio can be a bit noisy, and really have no view.
