The strong points

Good location. Close to the beach and restaurants. Spacious room with two double beds. Good for 2 but not for 3 nor 4.

The weak points

Facilities run down, room not clean enough, esp bath towels. Washers and dryers broken.

The strong points

Close to the beach, provided us with beach towels and chairs so huge plus! Great access to city transit as we took it to Pearl Harbour and Diamond Head and avoided tours

The weak points

Pool was cold and the hot tub is very small. The traffic was loud even staying on the 7th floor.

Nice staff.

The weak points

The only negative thing was the traffic noise. Way too laud to keep the windows open. Would stay there again, but ask for the garden view.

This hotel is located just 2 short blocks or 5 minutes walk from Waikiki Beach, and close to shopping and restaurants. Aqua Bamboo is smaller compared to other hotels, and it is rather old, but it's clean and well maintained, with wonderful patio surrounded by tropical garden, small swimming pool and hot tub. Staff is fantastic. They provide service beyond expectations. After a few days you feel like family or their best friend. Especially, Joy and Fe were wonderful, ready to assist us any time. Hotel is quiet with relaxing atmosphere, and has no restaurant or bar. In summary: Well located smaller and older hotel, with excellent staff. We will be back.

The strong points

The staff is fantastic, great service and advice re: local atractions. We liked free goodies like beach chairs, towels and ambrellas, and complementary snacks in the lobby including apples, tea, coffee and refreshing cold lemonade or ice tea.

The weak points

Older hotel. If you do not like muffins, breakfast offerred as an option is not for you.

due to the fact you should not be spending much time at the hotel except sleeping it was suitable for the price and the proximity to the beach. The pool was small but lovely and never busy an added bonus [Details]

clean tidy room close to beach

The weak points

no real service after 8 oclock the knob on our stove was broke and it was stuck on high the man they sent to fix it didnt speak english and couldnt help. i turned it off with tweezers. no one ever came to fix it

Great hotel! It's on a very central street that's only 2 blocks from the beach so it's a bit noisy but there are free chairs and mats to take to the beach, beautiful pool area, fantastic massage therapists, great kitchen, friendly staff, sauna, hottub, pool...i loved it! [Details]
