Overall we were pleased with our accomodation, a good way to be in proximity to Waikiki Beach without spending a fortune. [Details]

This was the most comfortable my family and I have been in a hotel; it really felt like home. (I'm actually a little homesick since leaving!) The staff were very friendly and helpful, the amenities and services offered were great, but the location was the best of all. Some of the reviews I read before going mentioned the building was in need of upkeep, but I stayed at some very posh hotels in France that were at a similar level of disrepair. A crack here or there isn't a big deal to me as long as everything is clean. [Details]

Great location and pricing for the 2 minute walk to Waikiki. $15US per day covers room service and amenities which include free dvd rentals and PS3 games. Pool on the roof "R". Parking is expensive if you are renting a car. Though the car is great to drive around the island. $25 US / day is parking. Has laundry on the 2nd floor. Security patrols the building constantly and you can keep the laundry going. [Details]

The hotel put me and my boyfriend in a room with two twin beds which was a problem. We requested a queen bed. We went to front desk and they happily switched our room the next day. They took the luggage over while we were out for the day and we had no problems. We were put into a less updated room compared to our last room. The room came with a kitchenette which was nice. The rooms that do not have a full ocean view, do not have much of a balcony! it was maybe a foot wide. The ocean front rooms had full balconies. Just a heads up for smokers, you can not smoke on the balconies. You will have to go downstairs in front of hotel. This is for every hotel.

The facilities were clean, pool and hot tub were clean and nice. It was on top of building which had amazing views.

All the employees were great except for one man who worked front desk. He was quite rude to us when we were trying to get our luggage in the back. He was very impatient and seemed annoyed. We felt very uncomfortable asking him for anything and calling a cab for us. He was working our last day there.

Other than that, we had no problems with the hotel it was a nice visit. The hotel is close to the beach only a 5 minute walk, maybe less. Close to food, restaurants, and shopping! [Details]

This is NOT a 3 star hotel. It is old, and smelly. The studio room we were in overlooked the parkade and we had a constant smell of dryer sheets from the laundry room which is open to outside & located in the parkade. Even though it was suppose to be non-smoking there was always a smell of smoke coming into our room & in the hallway. The cleaners missed the bathrm sink and floor every day until I asked. I would not stay there again. [Details]
