Our experience at his hotel was great. The staff was abundant and friendly, and the room was new and clean. The food was varied and great including beef, pork, fish, fruit salads, deserts and even sushi, and that's only the buffet, There was also two other restaurants where the food and service was great, and a disco on the top floor with views of the city. The water is filtered and safe to drink. It is located across the street to a shopping mall and about 1 kilometer to another mall. There is the Balboa walkway a short distance away with great views of the city. There are no beaches in the area so expect to travel to get to the water. There are 2 tour companies in the lobby and another one across the street so there is easy access to other areas around Panama. [Details]

The strong points

Being a Hard Rock Hotel there are an abundance of rock memorability in a new, modern setting. The staff were friendly and kept the place clean and well stocked.

The weak points

There is no beach and aside from the mall across the street there is not a lot to do without traveling. Although there were some children there, I would not recommend it for families.

This is a beautiful hotel with a gorgeous pool and good food. The elevators are too busy when the hotel is full and there are banks of elevators which are not being used. The hotel needs to use all the elevators and assign certain elevators to certain floors. When we were there at Xmas there were only two different sets (each set for one half of the hotel) being used. Sometimes we had to let 4 or 5 elevators pass because they were full. The music is also loud everywhere but overall we loved the hotel. The staff go out of their way to help you enjoy your stay. The strong points

The hotel was extremely clean and very modern.

The weak points

They use a lot of air freshener in the common areas that was unpleasant and at some points the buffet area changed to differnt floors which was confusing - sometimes we needed a reservation.

We had a great time in this hotel. The food was good, the service was good, the location was good. It was a family vacation (we have 19 mo old) and before we went we had some concerns about being able to stay there with our little guy. But the hotel is very family friendly. Very many people come to stay there as a family. They obviously have some 'night life' in the hotel and close to it, but it didn't interfere with our vacation. We would definitely come back! Being a constant Panama City visitor, this was one of the best trips we had.
Luxury hotel with the best location, Multicentro is a fantastic small Mall, the Casino is our favorite in the city. Hotel's food was mostly very good.There was some confusion about whether a cappuccino is part of the inclusive plan. This is a small item.
