Zemi Miches Resort - January 2026
Upon my arrival at the hotel, I was warmly greeted by Eduardo, the bellboy, who transported me and my luggage via golf cart to Casa 3. He was incredibly friendly and accommodating, setting a wonderful first impression.
The room and bathroom were beautiful, featuring a modern, zen-like interior design that felt very current and relaxing. The lobby is absolutely stunning, with great ambient music and gorgeous furniture pieces that create a welcoming atmosphere. I noticed while in my hotel room that there was a generator noise and ice machine/housekeeping room - this caused some noise at times. I was on the fourth floor, 3406 near the elevators - to give one an idea.
The property offers a lot to do, including waterpark slides, pickleball courts, and a dedicated kids' zone. I kayaked three times and I also trekked to the Club Med Miches beach (25 mins). I wanted the crashing waves experience, whereas Zemi's waters does not offer that - it's more like a lake that's slightly murky. You would have to walk around the bend to get a full-feel effect of clear water. There's also an entertainment area on the second floor near the (Serrano Lounge) for teens, featuring a bowling alley, arcade, and laser tag. In the evening, they offer outdoor entertainment located at the theatre, open to all ages.
The pool is divided into three sections, making it enjoyable for all ages. The pool bar is excellent—be sure to order the Guavaberry drink, which is their signature and a must-try.
