Jaco beach

I am here with a large group of 200 people, the first thing is , if you can rent a golf cart in advance, do it, there is alot of walking between the rooms to the beach and pool area. there is a shuttle that comes by every 30 mins to an hr . the rooms are outdated and dont expect robes/ slippers or top of the line toiletries. they have hand soap and small bottles of shampoo and conditioner. 4 med towels and one hand towel, if u ask for bigger towels they will provide it. The food is different everyday, good quality food, and fresh fruits. there is 3 resturants, one is buffet, one is ala cart, and pool bar is limited food. you have the option of paying for food and drinks or all inclusive and the menu is different for those options. Pool and beach, you dont have to fight for chairs unless the weekends, the locals do come and occupy alot of space. There is beach chairs, but you need to pay for them $10.00 us per person all day. anything you buy in us the change is in colonies. the gift shop is very small. there is two grocery stores and ice cream store on resort. there is a private beach about 300 yards, where the monkeys are, no resturant its no longer available because of the monkeys. beatiful beach, less rocky than the main beach plenty of chairs no cost. Staff is fantastic, from room to resturants. Jaco city is a 25 min drive with lots to do and get tours, food and souveniors. use uber its cheaper than taxi

If you're looking for a good all-inclusive resort in Jacó then this is the place for you. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly and speak english well, and most everything is well taken care of. The only real downside is that it can be a bit of a party destination, particularly on weekends, which makes noise a bit of a problem. I asked for a room change, and the new room was much better situated. The food is better than I've had at other 3-star resorts, but don't expect the kind of food you'd get at 4 and 5 stars. Also beware that Jacó is very touristy town for Costa Rica. For being right on the beach with a good surf school, this is the ideal spot if you're looking for a beach vacation. If you're looking for eco-tours and don't want the beach, then you're better off somewhere more central. Pour les Francophones: ils font assez bien en Français.
