Beautiful Grand Cayman. People were very nice and we were happy with the hotel. Use of the amenities at the Westin made the vacation even better. Location of the hotel is perfect, across the street from the beach, and walking distance to a grocery store. [Details]

Sunshine Suites at Grand Cayman seems to be more of an "in-and-out" accommodation for business travellers.Although the front desk clerks were extremely helpful when confronted with a situation and requests for tourism info.,there was no help offered to locate the room,services or otherwise.The restaurant and food quality was very average-the so-called complimentary breakfast sparse and unsatisfactory.
Aside from the carefully maintained grounds, we would not recommend this hotel for any discerning traveller.We would rate it at barely 3 star quality. [Details]

We were very happy with our choice. Nice clean hotel with large rooms and very close to the beach and all the restaurants and shopping along the 7 Mile Beach strip. Do yourself a favour - buy a cheap umbrella for the beach - the sun is brutal and there is no shade after 11am ( no matter what hotel you stay at ) Beach is as amazing as they tell you! [Details]

We were very impressed how clean and well kept this hotel is. The staff at the Reception is exceptionally polite and helpful. The short walk to the beach is nothing and on the contrary, it gives you that feeling of independence (unlike when you stay in an enclosed all inclusive resort). The superior continental breakfast that's included in the price was fine, but maybe a bit of a variety would definitely go along th way (once overy other or 3rd day serve something different). The beach is fantastic, one of the most beautifl we have ever seen, perfect for swimming as the waves are not big or at times non existent. Great place to watch the sunset. Can not wait to go back. For anyone looking to get great value for a trip to Grand Cayman then Sunshine Suites is the place to stay. The property is kept in emaculate condition, the staff a knowledgeable and geniunely friendly, the rooms are basic in function but welll kept and clean and the onsite restaurant makes the best burgers I've ever had. It's in the middle of the seven mile beach strip so all the best restaurants are either in walking distance or just a short $2 bus ride away. It's located right across the street from Governors Beach on the seve mile strip so it's only a 3 minute walk to access. The beach itself is gin clear and incredible and offers some terrific offshore snorkeling. Highly recommend this place give the cost to value ratio. They give you a $50 food credit for use at the onsite restaraunt, free wifi, free use of their computers if you don't bring your own, free access to World's Gym down the street etc......Definitely heading back in 2011.
