“The location convenience isn't enough”
I had to go to Vancouver in business and needed a central location due to the several places I needed to go in the area, based on price I decided to stay at this hotel as didn't feel the price difference to other hotels would be justified, I was wrong.
This is one of the most dated places that I ever found, there is cracks and spots on the walls, the bathroom is a cubicle, the bed had a mattress that would put you in the surreal when sleeping because it has some sort of hole in the middle that ends up pulling you and your partner there and you'll battle for space all night.
The WIFI is very weak and don't even try Skype or video streaming because it will be just bad.
The place was very dirty, lots of dust all around, the metal in the window's frames was disgusting.
The only positives were the kitchen and the air conditioning, the first was very helpful and the second was good cooling the place.
The front desk staff, concierge and valet are unprofessional, rude and really don't have any training in customer service.
If you can afford something above, spend the extra 50 or 60 dollars and stay somewhere else.
