Overall it was ok not much in terms of food choices, sitting spots by slides hard to find as empty chairs held people's towels for long. Children had great time wIth slides and swim and of course slime. Shuttles to Universal Studios and other places were quite a relief for vacationers like us [Details]

Overall kids had a great time. Outside area is clean but everyday there was some kind of Reno going on which interrupted our enjoyment some way. Staff is friendly and always had a smile. Food selection isn't great for families staying longer then 2 nights. [Details]

The check in was quick and easy. We had requested twin beds in the kids room but the only room available to us was one with bunks. Not very practical for the two teen age girls. We were told we could change rooms the following day when one was available. We went to do that at the front desk the following morning and the line up was extremely long and moving slowly. Not what we wished to do on our first day of our vacation so we left. Entering the room it was obviously dated. There was a strong odour of bleach and everything showed it's age. Efforts were evident in trying to make it as clean as possible but you could easily see the years of wear. For example; chipped bathtub, cigarette burned bathroom counter top, badly stained carpet, dirt in corners, badly stained carpet and curtains in our bedroom to list a few. Entering the kids room we discovered that there were no drawers where there should have been. They were non existant. There were two tiny drawers but one we could barely pull out. Not very good for three children. There were some small shelves about five inches deep by a foot and two other deeper ones above where the dresser drawers should be but not very functional. The bunk beds were wobbly at one end and very cheap in construction. No pilows were provided for the pull out bed even though we booked for five people in the room. Fortunately we spent a lot of time out of the room as it was very small. The windows did not open and there was no fan in the bathroom causing the room to be very damp, musty and stuffy. There was an evident odour as a result. Lying in bed you could hear lots of noises from the room above and beside. Even the sound of urinating in a toilette. We would have changed rooms if the line ups were not so long at the front desk when it was convenient for us to do so. The phone in our room was not working for three days so we could not even call to request a change. The staff was always freindly and courtious. There seemed to be a challenge with a daily supply of coffee for the room. The pools were noisy and crowded and my daughter came out of the water with numerous black hairs on her. I can honestly say that we would not return to this hotel. [Details]
