Our stay was great. The food is very good, the pools are nice and clean, excellent grounds keeping, large comfortable clean rooms. Long beach, with white sand and very little coral to step on in and out of the water. Staff were excellent, you'll love Manny the pool bartender, Elim and Chendray (Sully and Mike) at the Casa Mia and Jorge the bartender at the beach. Had two trips to the spa each and all four excellent. Little store on site with everything you need. Golf course is beautiful though we didn't golf it. Nice resort, not overcrowded. Cons, pesos/dollars pricing in US dollars, bill in pesos, so Canadians are doing a lot of converting in order to figure out what's what and what to tip too. Noise travels a bit from rooms above you, so if you're a light sleeper, best to get one on the top floor. Beach a little shallow, not great for swimming, but still very nice. Not much to do here, so bring a book, some sunscreen and maybe a little bug spray for the mosquitos at night, not a lot, but some for sure. Figure out your discounts at the spa - credit with escapes is split between two people, welcome pkg at resort is to extend service time can't be used together and not on some services fyi. Didn't do the vacation club presentation for more spa credit so no notes on how that was. Enjoy, definitely worth a visit. :) [Details]

The strong points
Staff, Rooms, View, Food, in no particular order.
The weak points
Signing for everything even when all inclusive, we tipped cash to keep better control over signing spending. Spa credits confusing and no real nightlife to be had

Very well run, super clean, staff are 100% committed to customer service. Room was a 1 Bdrm suite which I highly recommend upgrading to. Wrap around balcony, in suite jetted tub, full kitchen. Beach is swimmable, with great snorkeling a short walk away. they have kayaks, paddle boards for the guests use. Beds were super comfortable. Grounds are very nice. Comp shuttle service into the town of Loreto at scheduled times every day. Had a great time here, just know it is about a 30 min ride into the town of Loreto. The resort is a bit quiet at nights, they do have some shows on certain nights in the Market Rest. If you are looking for a party atmosphere - you might be disappointed - if you're looking for R & R, quiet, chill time - this is it:) Tons of hiking around the resort. Love it and will be going back;) [Details]
