Our stay was great. The food is very good, the pools are nice and clean, excellent grounds keeping, large comfortable clean rooms. Long beach, with white sand and very little coral to step on in and out of the water. Staff were excellent, you'll love Manny the pool bartender, Elim and Chendray (Sully and Mike) at the Casa Mia and Jorge the bartender at the beach. Had two trips to the spa each and all four excellent. Little store on site with everything you need. Golf course is beautiful though we didn't golf it. Nice resort, not overcrowded. Cons, pesos/dollars pricing in US dollars, bill in pesos, so Canadians are doing a lot of converting in order to figure out what's what and what to tip too. Noise travels a bit from rooms above you, so if you're a light sleeper, best to get one on the top floor. Beach a little shallow, not great for swimming, but still very nice. Not much to do here, so bring a book, some sunscreen and maybe a little bug spray for the mosquitos at night, not a lot, but some for sure. Figure out your discounts at the spa - credit with escapes is split between two people, welcome pkg at resort is to extend service time can't be used together and not on some services fyi. Didn't do the vacation club presentation for more spa credit so no notes on how that was. Enjoy, definitely worth a visit. :)
