Ixtapa

We loved the accommodations the views the service and the food. We have no complaints. We would highly recommend this resort. It should be noted that there are a lot of stairs (at least 30 plus) to restaurants & beach areas & some uneven walkways.

Food was usually on the cold side, breakfast was generally ok but only one toaster, not good. The specialty restaurant Bogarts was absolutely one of the worst meals ever, it was embarrassing. I would not offer this place to eat. The Italian restaurant was so so, not very good.

Great location right on La Ropa. Basic, very clean, a/c worked well, great service at front desk. Not 5 star but all you need for a great vacation. Could use fridge and coffee maker.

This was the second time we stayed at the Park Royal Ixtapa. This trip was from Feb. 23rd to March 9th, 2023. Overall our stay was fantastic! The only complaint I have is the food was never hot. Not sure what the issue was as last year the food was great but this year very repetitive and not hot...most days supper was barely even warm. Huge shout out to Miguel who helped us change rooms to get a beautiful view of the ocean and resort compared to staring at a palm tree!! He was so very helpful and made sure everything in our new room was ok which turned out was the exact same room we stayed in last year!!

The hotel is very clean with a simple pool. Rooms are a bit dated but clean. The family suite is a great value but only one separate bedroom with two doubles so there's no privacy for parents. It is at the quieter end of the hotel which is nice. First time to Ixtapa and we'd definitely go back. Easy and safe to walk to restaurants and market. Much nicer than PV

I would next time get just the beverages plan and breakfast plan only -NOT ALL INCLUSIVE - but dinner I would go out on the strip-all 10-20 min walk -fun safe experience on the strip - restaurant foods were great and reasonably priced - HOTEL FOOD WAS VERY AUTHENTIC MEXICAN I DID NOT CARE FOR THE BUFFET

The hotel was over capacity. The resort is too small for the amount of people staying there. We never swam in the pool and were unable to get a single chair.
