Not bad; could be better

The Impressive Punta Cana this hotel is located about 20 minutes from the airport. The grounds of the hotel are very clean, the entertainment group are really great, very friendly; a big thank you to Crocodile and Ice Cube; you guys are great. the front desk are very nice but not all of them, a big thank you to Alexander because thanks to him we got a great room with ocean view. note that we had to change rooms twice before getting something decent. When we arrived and checked in; the guy from the front desk wanted to sell the premium package, that's all he wanted and nothing else. Wasn't to friendly but hey; we are on vacation; so who cares. Arrived in my room and to my surprise there was only one bed, double, note that i was traveling with my daughter. Go back to front desk, they changed my room for a room with two beds, ok. the room wasn't cleaned, no hairdryer, no water; tv was a little weird; all the people on Tv where bleu; Avatar's:) ; anyways ; not the best room; I was already tired of going back and forth to the lobby; but I had to ; my daughter was disgusted;. 11 pm no one can do much for you at that time; so we spend the night in the horrible room and went back the next day at 3 pm like suggested. Mistake, big mistake because i waiting almost 1hour for service; but THANK YOU TO ALEXANDER at the front desk, he was great; we got a room with ocean view; again a big thank you to him. Restaurant à la carte are not the best; the Italian was gross; the Mexican was pretty good, the Japanese was .... Oh well couldn't tell you because we did not stay, water was leaking from the ceiling and on top of me; so when we went to see the girl; she did not do anything; did not suggest and even pretend to be nice. so we left; sorry I wont have dinner with an umbrella. We had another reservation ; the Spanish restaurant but we did not end up going. Some of the staff are super friendly; while other are just non existant. Wi-Fi is not the best in this resort; it works sometimes and not always stable. [Détails]

the beach is beautiful; the ambiance in the resort is great; always something to do at night.
Les points faibles
rooms are not great, small, nothing special. the big pool need to be renovated big time, tiles are off ; the bottom of the pool is gross.
The buffet; nothing special; always the same boring food; nothing different even thought they have themes.
