Choice of breakfast - at time of booking

A good 3* hotel because of the location. But, I hated that when I went to breakfast, a hostile woman told me I had to pay 5Pounds or I could only eat the cheap breakfast - continental. It is no big deal paying for better but I want to know before hand and not at the breakfast room.
Secondly, the chamber maid didn't clean the room properly. There were dust in the closet making my clothes dusty. [Details]

The strong points
Location. The front desk supervisor, she was so helpful and pleasant making my stay more enjoyable.
The weak points
Insulting breakfast pricing. The 5 Pounds more was not big deal, but give me a chance to decide at time of booking.

Nothing special, you have to rent hair dryer, one tv channel. Floor boards move when you walk down the halls...scary.
