Playa Blanca

Resort had poor service because mainly most staff did not know english and some didnt understand english even at positions such as reception. Found many staff rude. Have travelled to over 20 resorts and this is the only one I would not return to

My wife, two kids (6 &8) and I just spent a week at the Gran Evenia Bijao in Panama and we had an amazing time. The hotel was great. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, the staff are friendly and welcoming and the food was excellent. We ate at the Mediterranean a la carte restaurant once which was nice, but the food at the buffet was great and was always a good variety, so we mostly ate there. They also have a snack bar close to the activity pool that serves hot dogs, burgers and nachos. There are two wading pools areas for kids that have small water slides, two other wading pools and three pools that are deep enough for swimming. There are also 7 water slides! My kids spent most of their time on the water slides and never got bored of them. The hotel is right on the ocean which is great too. Our room was overlooking the pool area and had a view of the ocean. The room was recently painted and the bathroom is very nice and modern. Every night they have a kids show that goes from about 8-9pm where they invite kids staying at the resort to come and play games. After they have a performance that ends by 10pm and is different everyday. There's free wifi throughout the hotel and in the rooms

Our experience at the Gran Evenia Bijao was below average compared to other all inclusive resorts. But the opposite is to be said for the Gran Evenia Panama city.
