Villa Marina

I absolutely love villa marina and plan on returning next March break I've stayed before in 2017 it's the only vacation location I have returned to the staff are amazing helpful amd kind I love the laid back relaxing atmosphere the staff also went way above and had an a birthday party for my son made him pizza, which is his favourite meal and had a chocolate cake for him and had live music come to him they go above and beyond at this resort to make you feel welcomed and at home I've been before and I'll be again I really do love this place [Details]

its like going to the cottage but in cuba, small resort but you can use the facilities at Playa Blanca
Can't swim there because the marina is right beside it but they give free boat rides to beautiful Sirena Beach
Barbara at the front desk will help you with anything you need
food is good Juan Carlos and Juan the waiters are great and everybody else that work there will make feel at home [Details]

Nothing has changed since my last review. I love the location and the staff at this quaint and no frills hotel. I come for the hospitality and the amazing beaches only a quick ferry ride away. Will return in a heartbeat. [Details]

If you are looking for a basic, clean and low key hotel this is for you

Check-in: Swift and Barbara is awesome!

Room: Clean and spacious Lots of room to put clothes in drawers and hangers
Downfall was bathroom counter space - limited
Beds comfortable and huge pillows. A/C was wonderfully cold! You really appreciate that after being in the sun all day

Restaurant: 1 restaurant - which is fine considering there are only 22 rooms
Food was repetitive but served the appetite needs

Pool: small and basic and enough chairs If you do not prefer the pool then you can grab the free ferry or pay for a cab to Playa Sirena. Leave early though as beach chairs are usually taken. There is also Playa Blanca Hotel that you can go to as well - with a bigger pool, more beach, bars and restaurant options. Grab the free scheduled shuttle or pay for a cab

Bad: Nothing really - you are conveniently located in town. Maybe some people would complain about the music playing in town until 2/3am but get a room on the west side of the resort.

I would definitely return to this resort as it a very relaxed and laid back environment vs the bigger hotels. Enjoy the weather and scenery and do not think about the hustle and bustle that occurs in life. [Details]
