Tamarindo

This was my girlfriend and I's first all inclusive experience and it was overall very positive. We felt like we got a good value for our money, especially with the quality of the rooms and the service that staff provided. There were a few flaws outlined below, but I would overall that this is a great place for couples and families and given the very high prices of the surrounding town Tamarindo, I would definitely recommend as a more affordable option. The resort was a little far from town compared to other hotels, which was okay with us but be prepared to walk about 30 mins or take frequent Ubers as there's no taxi service in the area. Beach is as good as it gets if you're a surfer, but not for the faint of heart if you're scared of big waves. There's definitely a smaller tide pool section that's popular with kids, but this is not your average calm white sand beach Our biggest upset was our stomachs after a few nights, but other than that, we consider it a positive experience and worth the money. Theres loud music that plays from the stage at 9pm, but it ends by 10 so it was tolerable. Stage productions were entertaining and the staff was very talented and put a lot of effort. We enjoyed the live music as well, but the disco/party scene on resort was pretty dead afterwards. I would suppose most people go into town to party, and all the families stay behind
