Coral Blue Hotels And Resort

This hotel was not fancy and does not have multiple restaurants to choose from but it has everything you need. The staff was friendly, the food at the one restaurant was delicious (especially the lunchtime burgers). The ramp from the lower pool/restaurant area was not nearly as bad as we expected it to be. The flora and fauna around the grounds and in the ocean were wonderful. The hotel was close to the airport yet we never heard or saw a plane in the sky. We were the 1st hotel drop leaving the airport and on return we we had a private pick up. There were 2 or 3 families from Canada/US at any given time but the majority of guests were Mexican and we loved this. No rushing to save lounge chairs :) [Détails]

Coral blue is a new “resort” style but in an older body. It recently changed to the all inclusive model and they are not fully prepared for visitors from other countries. Many of the usual amenities are difficult to get (such as bottled water) but the staff are dedicated to servicing the clientele to the best of their ability and resources. The hotel and restaurant/pool area are quite separated by an extremely long ramp that traverses through the grounds. The hotel is atop a hill and the area where food, coffee, drinks, leisure happen are at the bottom. [Détails]
