Sandals Royal Curacao

We have been to a few Sandals and we are trying to hit all the islands. Curacao was next on our list. It was beyond our expectations. There was zero complaints.

Beach-We are not beach people so we knew that this resort did not have a swimmable beach in front of the hotel.
Pools- The double infinity pool is where we spent most of our days. No issues grabbing chairs to lounge on.

Food was amazing, ate almost nothing but Eggs Benedict for breakfast and at home we not eat breakfasts. We did the a la cartes the whole week except for one day when we did the Buffet..

Lunch time, lots of Choices but our main go to was the Food trucks. Grab a quick plate, bring it to the pool or have a sit down at the tables.

Food was not lacking and we ate (Just to eat) we were not hungry. We brought some snacks from home and did not even touch them.

The room was great as we had a club level room on the top floor, we had lots of alcohol, the "champagne" was always restocked, as well as our water, beer, pop, juice...

We took a taxi into town Willemstad at about $50 a couple, it was beautiful colourful and alive with people.

This one is in our top 3 for Sandals. Next up... St Lucia or Grenada :D [Détails]

Sandals Curacao is an awesome destination, but there is much room to improve.

The drinks are watered down that I had to order and mix my own.
Try finding shade in an unforgiving boiling sun, only if you pay an unreasonable rate.
Further, book some off resort trips and one after another they will get cancelled.
As for the staff, they are awesome, always helpful and great to deal with. [Détails]

The resort was new to Sandals and the staff was really friendly. The food was great and so was the resort. The staff was a little disorganized only being open for a few months. The main beach is not on the ocean side it's on an inlet heading into the island with lots of boat traffic. It has very limited area to swim, kayak and sail. The island and people are awesome but I would rate this resort lower then the other 4 Sandals we have been to in the past. [Détails]
