Smart Cancun The Urban Oasis

Pictures are not current, rooms are VERY dated, old, and in need of update. Having said that, beds were comfortable, bedding is very nice. Definitely a strong 3 out of 5. Internet was spotty but okay, Pool area was very nice, but again in need of upgrading. deck beards were rotting, pool often dirty, gym was sad, etc. On a very busy highway, ensure you request a room on the pool side, and the traffic noise was very loud. I did ask but didn't get one. Our shower head also needed to be repalce, sprayed water everywhere but where I needed it. LOL. Had a good time regardless. Still good value for the $$. [Details]

Liked mostly.Staff were really easy to get on with except the front desk who seemed strained and indifferent most of the time. Not impressed when I had to deal with them. That crew were a pain and tried to avoid them but unfortunately couldn't. Everyone else were exceptional. Rooms, meals, activity, restaurant bunch were great. Luis, Neimi and Gustavo on the activities crew were outstanding and really gave of themselves while I was there and are the biggest reason I'll return. Thanks guys, made my stay so rewarding with your personal attention. You among others made my time there more than just a place to hang and provided some pretty cool memories to look back on and hopefully forward to! Friendly engaging staff. soft bed and sheets. clean....the pool area is beautiful. probably best Hotel in city center Cancun. short walk to huge mall. loved it! [Details]
